AREINMI

“Areinmi is dedicated to all the people I inspire and who, in turn, support me.

Homosexuals, heterosexuals, neutrosexuals, students, all men and women of all ages who, through these years,
have expressed that my art has been a source of hope and courage in their hard times, they are all in me, they are Me.
Being an example even just for one of them, makes me honored and blessed, it’s a reciprocal strength”.

The collection expresses the internal conflict, there’s the artist’s anger on the creased fabric which eventually results almost
mistreated, just as the artist perceives himself on a personal and professional level in a predefined and despised fashion system and close-minded society.

Cotton, taffeta, organza, even the tulle, appear curling and twisted.

This negative tension is, once again, used in an artistic way through a positive and beautiful process of transformation.

Creativity wins over pain and discomfort, it goes beyond.

For the first time the designer presents symbolic masks, trench coats and “feminine” miniskirts alongside his most
recognisable gender-fluid outfits. In particular, the rabbit mask represents the tender side of a coveted identity which annihilates the label concepts and the sexual differences and enters a blissful asexual dimension.
